Corin products have been sold in Australia since the early 1990's through a distributor company, Baxter Healthcare Pty Ltd. In response to continued strong sales growth and to surgeon acceptance of Corin's products and techniques, a direct sales operation, Corin Australia Pty Ltd, was established in 2004. Australia continues to prove to be a key market for the Group and Corin Australia currently supplies the Corin range of products to over 80 hospitals across 6 states.

The Cormet metal on metal resurfacing hip system and the Rotaglide+ and Uniglide mobile bearing knee systems continue to be the favoured products in the Australian market. Australian surgeons are involved in Corin research and development projects including the clinical evaluation of 'Tubes Technology' for minimally invasive navigation for Cormet and the implementation of design improvements to Rotaglide+ instrumentation.

Based in Pymble, New South Wales, the Corin Australia office is well placed to efficiently distribute to Australian customers country-wide. Pymble is located just 15km north west of Sydney, Australia's largest city and one of the world's great seaports.

The recently established New Zealand branch allows Corin to respond to trans-Tasman surgeon interest in the product range.  Based just north of Wellington, the New Zealand entity enables quick supply of products to our New Zealand customers.
